The New York County Collaborative presents a film screening of “Secret Survivors,” a documentary theater project by Ping Chong + Company exploring the stories of Deaf and hearing survivors of abuse, followed by a panel discussion with Deaf survivors. The panel will address the unique barriers Deaf survivors face following abuse, and recommendations for service providers to meet the needs of this community.  
Refreshments will be provided.
Who should attend: Deaf and hearing community members, victim service providers, interpreting agency providers, and medical, law enforcement and criminal justice personnel.
Accommodations: ASL interpretation and CART services will be provided. All other accommodation requests must be received by September 8th, 2017, by completing this form.
