Rev. José Maria Callozo, chaplain and Clinical Pastoral Education supervisor at New York Presbyterian Hospital, will join us for this month’s roundtable. Rev. Collazo will share his story of survival, spirituality and resilience as an adult survivor of child abuse and a child witness to his mother’s abuse. We will look at the ways our spirituality does, or doesn’t, foster the resilience and the strength required to move from surviving to thriving.CONNECT’s Faith Roundtable is a space of ongoing dialogue, education, support and healing to discuss the struggle to end violence in our lives, in our faith communities, and in our world, from a spiritual and theological perspective. We meet the third Thursday of every month. Please join us as we explore these questions. All are welcome! RSVP to connectfaith@connectnyc.org
