This month the Faith Roundtable is pleased to join the communities of One Spirit Learning Alliance and the Episcopal Diocese of New York Task Forces Against Human Trafficking and Domestic Violence for a screening and panel discussion of “In Our Backyard”, an award-winning documentary by Director Danielle Rose.

Set in Brooklyn, this film is an investigative journey into the widely unknown and unspoken reality of sex trafficking in all the boroughs of New York City. Presenting the heartfelt experiences of three recent survivors alongside the work of law enforcement agencies, public servants and non-profit organizations such as ECPAT-USA, this work intends to increase public awareness, to inform and promote effective change in hearts and lives engendering respect, safety, accountability, and well-being for all.

Panelists include the documentary film maker Danielle Rose, Indira Castro, Director of Programs and Community Partnerships at Mayor’s Office to Combat Domestic Violence, a representative of ECPAT-USA, a leading anti-trafficking organization, and survivor-advocates. Please join us  and be part of the solution to end sex trafficking in our backyards. All are welcome!
