Hate Crimes in 2017
Thursday, May 4th, 6 - 8 PM
127 West 127th Street, Room 432

Until the great mass of people shall be filled with the sense of responsibility for each other’s welfare, social justice can never be attained.”

— Helen Keller

Anti-women hate crimes are on the rise in NYC. Some are reported - like the hate crime that took place on the subway platform Friday April 14th — but many are not. We must change the current narrative that normalizes hate, and stand on the side of Love and Justice.
Please join the women’s circle on May 4th to share your own experience, how you have been affected by the rise in hate crimes and talk together about what we can do about it. #CommunitiesAgainstHate
CONNECT is proud to have joined the national Communities Against Hate initiative at Open Society Foundations. Read more about this important initiative at You can report a hate crime on this website.

CONNECT’s monthly Women’s Circle is a free and open discussion forum for empowerment, support, healing, and liberation.
Mark your calendar with future Women’s Circle dates:
June 1.
