ROUND-TABLE DISCUSSION

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A MAN
Achieving Gender Equality for All Through Respect, Education and Cooperation

You are invited to join us as we deepen our understanding of the different issues and challenges boys and young men face in today’s world. What are the effects of the many mixed-messages and hyper-masculinity images? How do gender expectations affect their daily lives and suppress their humanity? How are young men redefining their gender, and what might manhood look like in the future? We hope this discussion will begin the process for NGO CCR to create a Working Group on Boys at the UN.

Thursday, November 17, 2016 – 3:30-5:00 PM
