Seeking Internal Justice & Beyond Wellness Window Dressing Lecture + Workshop

In the spirit of renewal and rebirth, CONNECT’s Radical Wellness Program is offering another installment of our popular lecture and workshop with Nkem Ndefo designed for community workers, advocates, organizers, teachers, social workers, caregivers, helpers and healers who struggle with self-care.

On Friday, May 6th Nkem Ndofo will lead a lecture on embodied healing and cultural transformation specifically discussing: *Why justice and healing go hand-in-hand *A powerful healing tool that addresses the root of our health conditions and community challenges *How to deal with the stress of daily life in the midst of racism, gender violence and economic distress

On Saturday, May 7th join an experiential workshop where you’ll understand why you get stuck and learn some concrete steps that will help you break down your resistance and tap into your body’s deep well of healing and wisdom.

CONNECT’s Radical Wellness program serves community members and community workers around New York City. We provide:

* Access to tools, frameworks and practices to facilitate the healing of trauma and internalized oppression
* Supportive spaces to learn and heal in community through workshops, trainings, retreats, lectures, healing fairs and film screenings
